Guess you never saw that big bezel crap on Thinkpads. They're way worse.

Irrelevant as all your Zoom, Discord, Teams etc. make 720p max. out of it ^^1080P in 2021.
That's correct, but Apple can't eliminate the chin unless they put the speakers behind the LCD. That would be pretty poor in terms of audio performance.

Thickness of the display + minimum PCB and cooling height would have required much more space making it look like the bulge found in the last Intel iMacs.
