the vision pro is not long for this world. That will make vision pro’s M2 look weaker still.
If by that you mean the vision pro itself is likely to get at least one or two updates, and likely to spawn cheaper versions, then surethe vision pro is not long for this world.
I also have used Infuse Pro for many years. It's an excellent media player AND media organizer. If you have an external drive full of media, is it movies or your own video? If the former, then you will love the rich UI that Infuse offers.I’ll give it a try, although I’ve always thought it was a “media library organizer” rather than just a player. But yeah, I’m definitely trying it without paying the subscription, to see if it works well as a media player for the external monitor. Thank you.
I believe they’ll do it. It’s a way to simultaneously boost iPad sales, generate excitement for Apple, and a nice segway to introduce the AI features we’ll see at WWDC. Fingers crossed! 🤞Wow. That would be something if apple debuted the m4 on an iPad Pro months after releasing m3 on MacBook Air. 😅 I’m going to say this isn’t going to happen and hope I’m wrong.
I think someone hasn’t had enough sleep, he’s dreaming.Oh? Now Gurman believes it’s likely we see an M4 powering the next iPad Pro? After we’ve been discussing it for well over a week…
And what to show for the iPhone 16P?I believe they’ll do it. It’s a way to simultaneously boost iPad sales, generate excitement for Apple, and a nice segway to introduce the AI features we’ll see at WWDC. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Haven’t tried it on an external monitor but Infuse is arguably the best media player out there. For me, lately, the struggle with my iPad Pro is finding a good, reliable, non-subscription based media player. I use VLC, nPlayer, and more recently I purchased OPlayer, and none of them have a reliable UI when using it on an external monitor while reading files from an external hard drive. The UI glitches, or doesn’t work well between the iPad and the external monitor.
Any suggestion is welcome.
Any workflow improvements you're looking will likely come with iPadOS 18. What an M4 iPad Pro will give you is some hardware features unavailable on previous iPad Pros. We’re officially two weeks away. The hype is going to continue to grow daily.
Personally, I’ve tried the “all iPad workflow” for 2-years and it did have its drawbacks. Lack of dual monitor support, lack of clamshell, pro apps lacking, lack of proper cooling.
if Apple can give us these with the M4 iPads I’ll be very happy.
While there is very little to no chance I’ll replace my M3 Max MacBook Pro with the M4 iPad Pro, I’m incredibly excited to see what Apple has in store.
I’d love to see the iPad Mini get the M2 chip at least.
Upgraded wide angle lens. 🤣And what to show for the iPhone 16P?
I think AI on software side and Neural Engine on M4 on hardware side is what they are aggressively trying to get outI'm sort of curious what Apple's motives are for their chip skipping between devices. I know the obvious answer is just because M1 -> M2 for the iMac was not a particularly large upgrade while M1 -> M3 was. I wonder what they're thinking over in Cupertino.
I have the official USB-C to HDMI adaptor that also has a USB-A data entry and a USB-C power entry.I also have used Infuse Pro for many years. It's an excellent media player AND media organizer. If you have an external drive full of media, is it movies or your own video? If the former, then you will love the rich UI that Infuse offers.
Curious, though...external monitor? Via Apple TV or AirPlay? Because there is only one USB-C connector and I would assume your external drive is connected to that?
