$499 is very reasonable imo. Great update. Finally treating the mini like a premium product.

Hopefully they continue treating smaller devices as premium devices. (iPhone mini, Mac mini)

I think Apple needs to stop using announcers during these events not like they're necessary.. They're all awful and what's with constantly moving their hands while they talk? They can bring people back when/if they ever do these live again..
