Apple is clearly treating the watch like iPhone with yearly updates. I‘m not sure why. It’s pretty clear Apple didn’t really have anything new to announce. This years update could have been just a press release. And it’s insulting that the series 3 still exists and neither the series 3 or SE got a price drop.

If Apple really wanted to expand the Watch market they would have reduced the price of the series 3 to $99.

For me, technology works best when it disappears to the greatest extent possible and truly cuts down the time to accomplish certain tasks. That is why I want a fully independent Star Trek like Apple Watch, minimal screen to cut down on distractions, can Apple or a data provider give people the option, $10/$20/$30 a month for an Apple Watch data plan, no other phone plan necessary, that would be news.

I'm so glad I sold my iPhone 12 Pro Max and bought the Z Fold 3, especially after this garbage event today. I'm seriously going to start laughing at people with iPhones now while pointing to that hidious notch. Do you people not realize that this phone design hasn't truly been updated since 2017. Buah hahahahaha 🤣

If I ever saw one out in the real world I might agree.....

The CPU and GPU are only up to 50% and 30% faster than the competition? I thought the lead was already more than that… Apple’s adverts are actually dissuading me from their products wow
Yup, before they used to compare the gains vs. previous model. Now they're comparing it against the competitors? This tells me that the CPU & GPU is only marginally better than the iPhone 12.

Is this cgi or is this woman really on a big stage in front of empty chairs? That section about the watch with woman and guy standing by the coast looked fake but not sure about this

Ultra wide looks awful still. Idk why. But I feel like we have 12mp cameras since forever lol

I swear, with the exception of the watch, innovation died with Jobs.
I agree and so did the excitement in the announcements. Just don’t get it. What has happened at Apple? Now you have to have a bunch of different people presenting and not the top execs, who always used too?
