i hate that they PURPOSELY hold back updates they could implement that push the envelope, but they won't anymore... because they are worried about that ever present XX% growth sales since last year.

Actually release something that will make our jaw drop okay.

Apple is running into a how can they top these phones next year problem. It's getting to the point they are too perfect.

Just incremental increases so after 5 years people have a reason to upgrade. People are keeping them longer, so...

In 10 years, we'll maybe laugh at the tech of now. Cameras have a long way to go.

As a photographer, I love the camera upgrades, and will definitely be updating my iphone 11 Pro Max. I still wish Apple gave the iPhone Pros USB-C instead of lightning. But hey, i can’t really complain. Amazing tech packed into these devices. I’ll also be upgrading my ipad mini to the new mini. I have the 11” ipad pro for sketching & editing photos, but when i want to travel light, the new mini will come in handy. Love that I can finally use my 2nd gen apple pencil with it now. I won’t be upgrading my Apple Watch series 6 tho. That does all I need & to upgrade to the series 7 wouldn’t make sense for me. Cheers! 👍🏼

That's what I'm hoping. I hate it when Apple differentiates cameras from "normal" and "big" phones.

damn. probably means case wont fit, which I don't see why they didnt make it fit the 12 cases, that means they now have to produce an entire new line of "minimal thickness increased" 13 mini compatible cases.

Not really. The Pro is my main iPad, but I use the mini when I'm traveling.

If they're into making those kinds of videos, isn't it much better to just buy an interchangeable lens camera?
Sony has many affordable APS-C options, which will do a much better job and have the versatility of adding lenses for different uses.

The small sensor will take ages to be on par with this. Nikon Z6ii 70-200 2.8S Nikkor Z.
Sure the price is about 4-5x the cost of the phone without on board storage, but the phone has a long way to go.

Speaking as someone with an Apple Watch Series 6 and iPhone 11 Pro, this keynote just saved me a lot of money. This is the first time I'm skipping an every other year iPhone upgrade. Would have been tempted to upgrade my Watch if there was a new form factor.

Yea this feels like the iPhone XS. I don’t feel compelled to upgrade either my Apple Watch series 6 or iPhone 11 Pro Max. I was looking forward to the tracking threads and all that fun stuff with everyone too.
