2025 promises to be quite a big year for Apple, with the company rumored to be planning more than 20 product announcements this year.

Apple's rumored smart home hub will be its second all-new product to launch in as many years, following the Apple Vision Pro headset last year. And of course, we will get several new iPhone and Apple Watch models, like every year. Beyond that, Apple could update some products that have not received any hardware refreshes in at least a few years, including the iPhone SE, AirTag, Apple TV, HomePod mini, and Mac Pro.

Below, we recap what to expect from Apple this year.

First Half of 2025

The following products are rumored to launch before the end of June.

Second Half of 2025

The following products are rumored to launch from September through December.

Timing Less Clear

The following products are expected to launch at some point in 2025, but the exact timeframe has yet to be narrowed down for these.

Wondering who will need the VisionPro with the M5?
For immersive Video the M2 is just fine.

M5 is likely needed if Apple would turn Vision Pro to a spatial computer that would actually be a computer (not just "iPad for your eyes"). Unfortunately I do not have high hopes of that — visionOS is modeled to follow iPadOS.

Yes - but it is really tedious to work with this thing on your head.

That’s all I care.
Need to get out of this ********* of managing internal storage.

I look forward to all of those, though I can't really afford any of them (yet, I still have yet to make my millions!).

"Apple Expected to Launch 20+ Products This Year"

Most products described here are actually very incremental updates of existing Apple products.
Would "release" have fit your sensibilities better? Note that it didn't say "Launch 20+ Brand New Product Lines This Year". For the people at Apple doing the work, it is a product launch, they're not just changing the version number on the assembly line.
