I work in industry and I know what launching a product means, thanks ☺️.Would "release" have fit your sensibilities better? Note that it didn't say "Launch 20+ Brand New Product Lines This Year". For the people at Apple doing the work, it is a product launch, they're not just changing the version number on the assembly line.
The Vision Pro was a launch. The new Mac Mini was a launch. Simply because these are products we have not seen before, or they were significantly different.
Going from iPhone 15 to iPhone 16 was not a launch IMO.
But "launch" sounds definitely better from a marketing (and sponsoring) standpoint.
