Apple Expecting iPad and Mac Supply Shortages in Second Half of 2021

Hope, there is't going to be any shortages for the MacBook Pro Models.

I'm not sure Apple would release a severely constrained product, but I get the concern.

If there's anyone who can do it, it's Apple.

Your 16” MBP will be delayed 9 months.

Maybe it will be 17". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are still bezels on the 16 inch that could be cut down further.

Im not disputing that planned scarcity is a tactic used by some.

I am disputing that it would make any sense for core products that history tells us Apple will sell as many as they can make.

In addition, I am very much enjoying the idea that Apple is somehow creating the global chip shortage to this end...or everyone is in on it and lying about it, to everyone's detriment, just to create a buzz around Apple's new ipad and mac.

Oh my God if Apple did this I would buy it immediately, even if my current needs do not exceed that of an iPad.

This would be VERY difficult for me to resist, reason and logic be damned.

Like I said two weeks ago, with the global chip shortage that it is going to be a problem. If you want a awesome MacBook Pro 16 now, get the current model. The i9 processor still rocks like crazy on multi threaded application. I bet you can find system sitting around on Amazon and other sites. And you can use a EGPU, and you can use Bootcamp and Windows 10, more memory, more storage.
