Huh?Provident 😡
Just make it free for Apple users, period!Sheesh. Just make it free on the newest generation of Apple hardware and $5 a month on non-Apple hardware and older hardware. Require hardware upgrades to keep the service 'free'.
Because TV+ doesn't have a lot of crap (Netflix), IAP (Amazon), or distrust (Disney)?
Its only free for the first product. When I bought my iPhone 12 it said free Apple TV but the fine print said for first time subscribers only. That's pretty much what they're doing with their "Buy an Apple product and get free TV+", but they can't say so as it would be considered "abuse of dominant position".
Yes. Along with, hundreds upon hundreds of original films, TV shows and documentaries produced by Walt Disney Studios over the course of 70 years - which won't disappear after a few months. It's simply unbearable.Even Disney+ only has "The Mandalorian".
What are you talking about? The stories are well done for their target audience. It's nice to have a small curated library of quality content. There was a time when 'Netflix Original' was a sign it was going to be good but those days are long gone. Amazon's original programing isn't bad but it's hidden in a secret garden of IAP.Apple TV+ loses points for not being available on Windows or other major platforms.
It loses even more points for the quality of content. Not enough for families. Not enough classic content. Nothing that pushes the envelope in terms of storytelling. It's almost as if the content was written by a committee.
I find Prime frustrating as hell because they also try to sell you rentals. I can't ever find anything to watch on there as I can't seem to figure out what's actually available to me.The content line up isn't compelling enough. The only video streaming service with enough content is Netflix and second is Amazon Prime Video. Even Disney+ only has "The Mandalorian".
Unless of course some movement claims something is bad and Disney decides to censor it, or change the aspect ratio, or bring back Walt's vault.Yes. Just go to https://tv.apple.com/ ?Apple TV+ loses points for not being available on Windows or other major platforms.
The only two things I have watched on Amazon are Grand Tour and Fleabag. Honestly, I think Amazon is slowly melting Clarkson's soul.I find Prime frustrating as hell because they also try to sell you rentals. I watched The Expanse but that's about it.
I know. I got my free TV+ with the 11 Pro Max, they didn't extend it when I got my iPad Pro or when I replaced the 11 by a 12 Pro Max. At least they keep extending. I was planning on getting Apple One in February, now I'll wait till August. Its only free for the first product. Really? I got a free renewals when I got a new iPad pro and when we upgrade to the 12 Mini and the 12 pro.I know. and all the Marvel movies and all the Pixar movies. Disney+ is brilliant. It's HBO Max I struggle with. What is the point of it?The content line up isn't compelling enough.
