I have no idea if my 12 has this but the screen has a scratch on it that bugs me, any idea if they will replace it even if I just bring it in for this or do they somehow test it first?

While it probably is a very small percentage, it's probably a bit higher as not everyone bothers to report issues or seek support. My friend has the same earpiece issue on the 12 Pro Max (which apparently is not affected according to Apple). He's never sought to get it fixed and just uses his AirPods. I appreciate not everyone is like this but it's surprising how many are. I told numerous people to get their iPhone 6 batteries replaced when they complained of poor batteries and most said they couldn't be bothered and would just upgrade at some point.

That issue doesn't affect my 12 Pro, sadly...

Sadly because my 12 Pro ALWAYS suffered from the OLED green flickering during black screens at low brightness, which Apple doesn't have a repair program for, and I only decided to contact them when the 1 year warranty had already expired...

If it also had the sound issue I might have been able to get it replaced.
