Dog lovers here. We have Pugslee the Chinese Pug, Miss Orleans the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog and then there is our ham, Sluggo the English Bulldog. Ain't nothing like a bunch of drooling fools to greet you when you come home.

Why must it be an either/or?

I'm a big dog fan myself. I kinda hate cats... but from what I've heard, I've had bad luck with them! I have never found one that is actually nice or fun. They all seem to just do their own thing and use you for food lol
P.S. I really liked all the pictures everyone! Wasn't expectin it, but it was a nice touch!
I'm either/or, though I tend towards cats because they're lovable enough while being relatively low maintenance. Cats clean themselves. Dogs? They get stinky after awhile, and you have to give them a bath.

I've had both cats (two Seal Point Siamese) and a dog (half Beagle half Labrador), all wonderful companions.
Are you using the CitiKitty? I used that last year to toilet train my cat, Eames. He's my first cat, and I had no idea what I was doing, so it took longer than it was should have (I could easily do it now in the 6 weeks it claims with a willing cat), but it was successful! No more litter box.

Geeks in general tend to be cat people. Mac users are subset of geek, so you would expect more cats as well. But so far the results are balanced between the two. Perhaps macs attract more humanistic types than other platforms, who prefer dogs.

My wife and I have two dogs (and used to have to awesome cats that we miss terribly, but have a newborn). Gotta say we're both Apple people and we love animals of all kinds.

2 Cats - a British Short hair named Gus and a Tortoise Shell named Poppy Rose or pops for short. Mum refers to her as bitch
2 Dogs - Cavalier King Charles Spaniels both are 14 years old
