I'm disappointed. If this is supposed to be a media center killer, I'm more interested in how it serves my TV rather than how much faster it is. I want storage and I want control. Oh well, on to the next announcements. I'm not getting a mini now...

i dont care about $99 cases:mad:
I vote LAME...an ipod is already expensive enough, I dont wanna tack on another 100 bucks on something that can be stolen or lost.

Here comes the $899 Boom Box...

OK that's a guess on the price, but if it is up to the hype he's giving it then it must be..

Edit: It won't be of course.

Is he really talking about audiophiles? True audiophiles would not rely on 128k encoded mp3's as their main audio source.

Just get back in the Reality Distortion Field™ and you'll be fine. :D

Ohmygod this is all so exciting. What with the release of the Intel Mini - the big thing I've been waiting for coming first. Now it looks like they're filling in with loads of other generic stuff to finish on a big 'un.
Its either gonna be an iPod (true) Video (probable) or an iBook replacement (another thing I've been waiting for) but that's much less probable.

You could use Apple losless and a terabyte of storage ;)

I bet if they offered a live QT stream, the RDF would have a greater effect...
