This is a non issue to me since FW updates just happen.
My issue here is however: is this the reason why my AirPods Pro 2 need to 'connect to my iPhone' from time to time? Sometimes I open the lid and I get a prompt to connect those seemingly unknown AirPods to my phone. That while I use it regularly on whatever device (iPhone, Mac, Apple TV) - meaning they are connected and shared across my devices through the iCloud Bluetooth sync function.
So: is this related or am I dealing with another issue? thx!

All these years I’ve been plugging the charging cable into the charging case, but not plugging the other end of the cable into anything. Thank you, Apple for this vital information.
