Why iPhone and not iPad (once it gets iPadOS 16.x of course) ?
This kind of stuff is most certainly legal/regulation related.can't understand why Fitness+ is not available in other european countries.
I live in the netherlands, we can perfectly understand english.
i even have my phone set to english. i can't make head or tails of iOS in dutch.
I also cannot comprehend this. This is super disappointing - for almost 2 years, the Fitness+ has been running and only 21 countries are supported. What about other countries, why this can not be launched in the rest of Europe / EU countries?
.

But that doesn't add up considering the many European countries that do already have Fitness+This kind of stuff is most certainly legal/regulation related.
That's what I thought as well: already, the calories are derived from the heartbeat, which is an educated guess at best. But pulling those numbers out of thin air is ridiculous. So if you are using an iPhone for these without the watch, are cals calculated based on an AI driven estimate?
Still no macOS app. This means it's very difficult to display the workout videos in a large screen.
With a macOS app, you can connect to a big monitor or big TV easily. Without a macOS app, you need an Apple TV or a new TV that has Airplay built in - both of which are not common.
Come on Apple. Come on "work" from home employees. Make a macOS app already. I mean for f sakes, Apple Silicon should have made building macOS apps easy. Just check the box that would enable the Fitness iPad app to be downloaded by Apple Silicon macs. Then we can start using it with our macs immediately.
I have an SS AW, so I’m not concerned as much. Just curious on how that will be handled. That's what I thought as well: already, the calories are derived from the heartbeat, which is an educated guess at best. But pulling those numbers out of thin air is ridiculous.
I quite like Apple Fitness+ and use it nearly daily, but a few more words explaining the technical background would be nice. As my Apple Watch Ultra is hopefully on its way, I'm not all that affected or concerned personally though...

It works on iPad, unless you mean optimized for that? Why iPhone and not iPad (once it gets iPadOS 16.x of course) ?
I mean without an Apple WatchThat's neat to hear! At least it's one less reason not to get it. However, I'm going to wait for ios16 to go below $300, at minimum, before I even consider getting in on this. And IIRC, you can't just get Fitness+, no? It has to be part of Apple One premium tier?

Is it not translated correctly in Dutch?can't understand why Fitness+ is not available in other european countries.

Desperate move to save a service that doesn't pay for itself, given the high costs, and whose purpose was to sell Apple Watch, but failed, relegating the same device to uselessness because it has already lost its fashion attractiveness and it was abandoned for 4 generations without a serious update of the sensors, to the point that they had to pretend to make it rugged in order to sell it.
I see it as bad for the Apple Watch, if Fitness+ and the Fitness app will work without it.
For Fitness+, as with too many Apple services oriented exclusively to the US, as long as it lasts the shareholders will be happy, otherwise they will cut those too. Apple will try to sell everything it can and cut where it can, in order to give shareholders its own dividends.

How are Apple TVs not common? It's worth the price alone to not have to carry a Mac to your TV and use more electricity.

It's not common.
Macs, by comparison, are much more common.
No. It's not a good product. I do not want to replace my perfectly good Fire TV. Like 98% of the smart TV stick owners out there, I don't want to buy an Apple TV.No, you can go to Walmart and pick one up off the shelf.

2% is not common. You're just mad because I used numbers to prove you wrong but you're just saying "you're wrong" without any backing. No one asked you about your crappy spyware Apple TV-wannabe.
I SAID, they are common. Stop changing the subject because you're wrong.
