Is every single executive leaving Apple except Cook? What's happening? Do they know something we don't know? This is very concerning. This news is starting to spread into mainstream media as well.
the Apple ship is sinking and everybody is leaving
Everyone’s cashing out.
2 executives, both in their early 60s, both making 7 digit salaries, both having a good amount of shares ...Is every single executive leaving Apple except Cook? What's happening? well, when exec leaders retire, it's a bit different, but, this has been in the planning for quite some time I'm sure as you can tell by the successor's timeline, the current Meta Chief legal officer ...OMG! Two out of approximately 100,000 or so non-retail Apple employees (0.002%) have decided to retire.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling! How will Apple ever survive?
Then hope they bring back Scott Forstall. That will be all kinds of Chaos.I love it. Chaos is better than whatever Apple has been doing. Maybe things will get better.
I endorse this. This feels a lot like a re-setting of the C-Suite for the next CEO. Usually you wait for the new person to show up or else just appoint "interim" replacements. Because the leaving folks are being replaced with new folks without any "interim" label, I'm thinking Cook is leaving next year and his successor is the one setting up his new management team.
True. I retired at age 50. I can definitely appreciate some of these executives wanting to ride off into the sunset to enjoy their golden years.Everyone who hits 50 is eyeballing retirement some day. Always on the back of their mind.
The head scratcher is why Cook still hanging around.
Some people really seem to want to keep working. I personally like retirement, but some of my colleagues are still going in to work on a daily basis.Everyone who hits 50 is eyeballing retirement some day. Always on the back of their mind.

Looks like Tim’s been using ChatGPT to make all his statements recently regarding the cleaning out of Apples house. It doesn’t even sound like him.In a statement, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he is pleased to merge Legal and Government Affairs because of increasing overlap between the two teams.
A recent post here from MacRumors says such is already happening with the iPhone air's resell value plummeting down to the underworld.Apple 2026: Everything must go! 75% off executives. Get them while they last!
This is a likely scenario. Much better to step aside and retire on your own terms than take your chances in a major c-suite shakeup.
Not every SVP, even those who are standouts in their silos, are qualified to run a complete company.True. I retired at age 50. I can definitely appreciate some of these executives wanting to ride off into the sunset to enjoy their golden years.
If Cook retires now along with all the other executives, it may cause a panic and a sell off of Apple stock. They’ll probably wait another year or so for Cook to announce his retirement. They’re all getting old. John Ternus is a relatively young guy (51), which could be why he’s being rumored to be the new CEO. Plus the hardware division has been doing quite well. So has Johny Srouji’s chip designing division, but he’s older (61) and might be close to retirement himself.
Finances aside, the trick is having family commitments, or many side interests, or at least not getting bored doing nothing. Some people really seem to want to keep working. I personally like retirement, but some of my colleagues are still going in to work on a daily basis.
Except it's not just 2. Have you not been following the news of the exodus of many of their senior executives over the last few months?2 executives, both in their early 60s, both making 7 digit salaries, both having a good amount of shares ...
Geez people, retirement is a good thing to do ...
Would be the absolute best thing that could happen to Apple. Tim knew his time was limited as Forstall was supposed to take over within a few years when he was ready. Tim couldn’t allow that to happen as Mr Crook’s greed is next level. Power and greed corrupt completely.I think it might be time for Scott Forstall to return to Apple
