You know there's two types of Apple users, some people buy an Apple product because it suits their needs. Some buy anything with the Apple sticker on it, go figure.

Not sure I get your point.

My point was that if you're not interested in something why take the time to make a post....that to me just seems odd.

The wealthiest of entertainers are give expensive things for free while the common stockholders (owners of the company) get nothing unless they sell their shares. Something is really twisted about that v

No, it's good business sense. No one gives a flying flip what watches you and I wear but for whatever reason needs to own what their favorite celebrity has. People who care about keeping up with fashion and trends look to trendsetters for what is current and happening. THAT'S why Apple makes sure that the biggest trendsetters have the watch. I find it hard to believe a Kardashian (including Kanye) hasn't been seen with a watch yet. Unless Apple has determined that they have become so hated that they don't want to associate, which is an idea I endorse. They chose celebrities that by and large are still considered "cool". Karl probably got his because he's a legacy Apple supporter. I'm sure if Colbert was still on tv we would see him wearing one (I still think he has one now but isn't in the news so much for us to know).

As far as I know there are no rules saying that you're not allowed to have an opinion, maybe it's different with Apple products.

Hmm, Honda Civic Si or Apple Watch.... decisions decisions.

I had a Honda Civic SI. Awesome vehicle. If you're thinking of having kids, be aware however, the car seat does not fit on the back.

Also, You can always get a $20 dollar watch any old day.

I can be as cynical as anything at times, but... why not gift a few things, it's a good business tactic and it shows you're serious about your products. I mean, just this week, Apple have gifted me well over £200 of iPod/iPhone accessories, all as goodwill for a simple delay in processing my iPod nano recall, so why wouldn't they be more generous to famous people, if they could do that for an everyday customer like me? Yes, I'm serious - an advisor sent me a whole batch of headphones, av adapters and bumpers, unexpectedly - I asked him if he'd made a mistake, he said "no, I just did it to make your day" - well thank you, and I very much appreciate it.

Keep at it Apple, you're top notch.

Hideous. It looks like brass.

I think you're just brassed off because you didn't get sent one. Don't be like that, just be happy for them.

What are you talking about? You've missed the point entirely. I never suggested no one should have an opinion and each to their own but why post on a topic that you have no interest in?

There is plenty of news on MacRumors that I have no interest in but never feel the need to post on those topics as strange as that might seem.

**EDIT**
I see where you're at, I've just read all your other posts....surely you must have better things to do!

Remember the segment on The Colbert Report when Colbert asked Apple why he still has a naked wrist and why he doesn't have an Apple Watch on his wrist? That was hilarious.

I can't watch now, but I *think* this is the segment:

The way he dresses has nothing to do with his job as a fashion designer. You might think that way but it isn't true. He designs for women's. He makes women beautiful. If you see the details of the dresses he sent down the runway, you will know why he's one of the most powerful fashion designers in the world.

The people in this forum needs to stop judging. Some of you sound like a housewife who has nothing to do but to bash people for no valid reason whatsoever. And what for? To see yourself worth a little more in your head? :(

I guess I'll never understand the fashion world. Seems like a huge waste of money and time. I mean the guy makes dresses that cost what?... tens of thousands of dollars? For what? Clothes? Really?

Just like they can't really understand much of the techie world building computers, swapping components, tweaking drivers, writing scripts, etc.

Yep, people who can afford the original clothes pay thousands and can tell people it's a Chanel or whatever. The rest of us pay significantly less for a version that is based on his design but is mass produced and of lower quality overall. So, the "Samsung" version of the clothes :p Sorry, couldn't resist trolling.

I think Tim has a crush on somebody...
But seriously, good for advertising I guess.
An ugly wrist, a tacky watch, and a ridiculous glove.

Thank you Chrjy, I'm humbled that you would take the time to read my posts, now I feel ashamed that I didn't take the time to read yours.

That glove looks particularly suitable for a quick punch in the jaw for anyone attempting to nick his Apple watch...

Maybe Apple can spin off the actual "computer" division into its own entity. I'd feel much better about that. Apple is starting to get its hands into everything, and will end up not doing any one thing particularly to its best end. I find myself getting less and less excited about each new piece of Apple news. I don't know if that's just me.

I'm all in with them as long as they make great computers. The minute I feel shortchanged in that department, I'll have to rethink my devotion to all things Apple.

… but Apple gifted designer Karl Lagerfeld with something even more special -- a custom gold Apple Watch with a gold Link Bracelet.

At least the $7000 band can still be used when Apple Watch 2 comes out. Pity it's going to be all scratched up by the zipper on that glove.

I think I want a mithril one. Apple hold the mithril patent don't they?

Wow a lot of income inequality commentary here.

When did Apple fans turn into this?

They might not have mithril but if you fall off a boat I bet the Milanese band will prevent a shark from biting your wrist :p
