So iPhone 7 and any hardware that is older than 2017 won't do HDR? I understand the new ones will play 4K, but I guess you won't notice a markedly clearer resolution on devices as small as the iPhone and even the iPad...

The 2017 devices will do HDR10 & Dolby Vision, but at 1080p. Only the Apple TV 4K is outputting the 4K resolution.

I was looking, and I noticed that some of my digital copies appear to be upgraded, but some did not.

Star Trek from 2009, shows as if I did not purchase it in the iTunes Sotr app, but when I go to the TV app, it shows as if I did. So I am a little bit confused.

It appears as if it will ONLY be movies that you purchased in iTunes. I have only redeemed movies or connected with UV and none of those have been upgraded.

Is this on any other stores? Not on Australian store yet. Really want to rewatch this before 2049. But probably won't unless it's 4K FC.

Fairly sure it’s 4K Dolby Vision on the US storeys well as UK. Not sure beyond that and I’ve no means I’ve checking the Aus store other than on my Mac, and that won’t tell me if 4K HDR etc for any film on any store.

I purchased the SteelBook of the The Fate of the Furious 4K which included a digital copy. I noticed in iTunes on the Apple TV it is not giving me the 4K version. What gives?
