Apple News+ is just fine and enjoy reading various articles on different subjects I am interested in. Blocking all the negative biased political crap that I'm against is great too.

The most annoying Magazine side of the app...No consistent formatting. One magazine PDF another Apple News+ format. The PDF format, cannot save an article. Need to pick one and make it work throughout.

Same with the subscription for Apple Music, starting the Music-App. I do neither have not want any subscription. But every now and then I first have to tick "not now", before accessing MY LIBRARY...

They want to sell their stuff...

Mixing paid content in with free apps is a major flaw to start with. It goes downhill from there. The free app users get an awful experience. The paid content users get an awful experience.

I do like the idea of premium versions of apples basic apps even email, pics, music, etc. They just need to be separate apps.

So how do you stop following a magazine?

While the highlight of last week's iOS 12.3 release was a revamped TV app with a new "Channels" feature, the release notes also mentioned a minor change to the Apple News+ interface that did not receive as much attention.

Ensuring the feature gains some awareness, Apple in a press release today highlighted the ability for Apple News+ subscribers to follow publications directly from the Apple News+ catalog view in iOS 12.3 and macOS 10.14.5. New issues from followed titles are automatically downloaded and available offline.

Apple added that it has received "a lot of great feedback from hundreds of publishers" available in Apple News+, with quotes featured from editors of publications such as Vox, People, Harper's Bazaar, and Popular Science.

Apple's services chief Eddy Cue:The feedback from editors can be read on the Apple Newsroom.

Are you saying that Apple is targeting ads for magazine titles based on the news topics in your feed? Hmm. Cook said that Apple doesn't surveil and monetize its customers. Another of Apple's carefully worded half-truths?

Have no issue with it, I like the feature where apple learns the news topics and/or stories I want to read about to make suggestions. I trust Apple far more than other providers (flipboard, Google news, newsy etc) in terms of privacy around this information. What is annoying is it filling up my news with tons of articles I cant read now.

Tried this page and while it has lots of products to provide feedback on, News and News+ are no where to be found. Where is the feedback, really? How does one actually leave feedback on News or News+, really?

I just submitted it using the iPhone feature feedback for now.

I agree I like that Apple News learns what I like, but using that knowledge to suggest articles behind their paywall is on the edge of Apple's claims against Amazon and Google. They effectively are using their knowledge of my reading habits to show me articles that they think I'll probably like as a way of trying to encourage a signup to their paid service. This is one case where I do actually think Apple needs to be careful - they are heading in a very dangerous direction.

So great that no one I know uses it

First I’m surprised no major attacks against Eddie Cue has happened in the first 5 post replies lol.

Secondly, this is the first press release, article or anything Apple related with seedier Cue represented in a year I was beginning to think he wasn’t at Apple anymore or that he’s fallen deathly ill and they kept it secret.

I really hope there is a UI overhaul in iOS 13. I honestly kind of want to try News+, but I just hear the interface is so garbage...
It’s actually not bad at al less distracting and scatterbrained than Flipboard.

Lol awesome. My mom did too except she also said my smile will not last forever and I know she was lying about all 3. She spewed her tea one morning when I was 13yo and replied ... “so why are you spending almost $5000 on my braces, and not a face lift/mask?!”
