With everything in the cloud, business is not about Microsoft Office, copy and USB anymore

So make iCloud capable of storing "everything". As it is now, putting all my files in iCloud would be a mess with its silly one level deep organziation. Assuming I didn't run out of bandwidth first, which I would. Editing documents would be slower since on a good day I get maybe 1MB/s DL speeds versus my SSDs which get nearly 1GB MB/s.

Can your fanboi force remove my bandwidth cap and speed it up to SSD speeds?

Business will use private cloud, definitely not iCloud

Unless you are editting videos/audios, 1MB/s and 1GB/s doesn't make any difference when you are just editing a document

iPad in business is not about replacing laptops. It's about using it when convenient and appropriate

I'm not going to download my own documents just to be able to use them. The very idea of it is absurd given how cheap storage has become.

I really wonder how much these proponents of iCloud actually use files? One can email and surf the internet all day long without having to deal with more than a handful of files. There's nothing wrong with using a computer in such a way - it's how most people do use them - but at least in the past Apple focused on creative users who use their computers to create stuff which generally leads to creating files. Lots of them.

Apple's iTunes/iCloud based management of files on iDevices is perfect if all you do is buy content from Apple. Try doing anything else and file management falls down.

Dear Apple

MDM is a joke

  1. Why when in use MDM to install apps on 75 iPads using a group do i have to go to all 75 iPads and tap install 75 times on each iPad?
  2. Why do apps imported in to the profile manager not list in alphabetical order?( yeah we have over 1000 apps 75K$ worth
  3. Why cant the profile manager that manages the security settings not reset the password on an iPad that is not currently already logged in to? ( if the password is forgotten all is lost)
  4. Why when more than 5 iPads are installing the same app via the profile manager you get an annoying popup saying the server is busy would you like to retry or ignore?

Yea i have contacted apple on all of these issues and elevated tech phone calls and emails with apple and none of the above are possible. in 1 year the only thing they have changed is none of the above. The one thing they did do is allow you to remove apps from the profile manager wow should they have done that from he start.. this MDM this is useless so its actually easier to use the bretford cart and sync each iPad separately 35 at a time :( you really dont make this easy for educational institutions apple and im the guy that trains the schools. PPS all your edu reps are good for is sending links to your forums...........there i said it and i never say anything negative about apple
