$10 you selected Personal Pickup when ordering and it went to the store.

Seriously, accusing Apple of "intercepting" your package? WTF is wrong with you? Yeah, they're out to steak $2k from you.

Not accusing, it was indeed taken away by Apple employee since they are the one who signed it instead.

Btw, it's shipping to my address and that even stated in the invoice.

So far on the information I got from FedEX, the package is indeed took by a Apple employee in Apple store for unknown reason.

After several contact, the package got back to FedEX. At the same time, Apple shipped another one.

Ouch...........This just got complicated.

Hopefully you get to keep both due to all these fumbles :p

Sounds like you may have selected ship to store for pickup. You should've received an e-mail notification, call apple or the store when you can come to pick it up.

Keeping two mac book pros when you only paid for one is dishonest, immoral, and unreasonable. What's next, demanding two million dollars because Starbucks put regular milk instead of soy in your latte?

Hopefully you get to keep both due to all these fumbles :p

If it's been signed for by an ICS - then it's been delivered to an apple store.

Which means one of two things - it's been delivered there by mistake, or Safari somehow autofilled an Apple store's address instead of yours in the delivery information/checkout pages.

What does your order page say under delivery address? This is exactly what would happen if you selected store pickup on a CTO machine.

perhaps it was damaged in shipping and he took it in to replace it.

Hmm--that is an interesting theory. I never thought about how they handle that. Perhaps if the shipment becomes totally damaged, they ship it back to the originator which is why it would be signed for by an Apple employee--interesting.

"...I'm taking it home to my workshop, my dear. I'll fix it up there, then I'll bring it back here. "

Woah, you totally took that out of context, might want to interpret my sentence a bit better before going off, so if apple told you to keep them both you wouldn't? We all know everyone would, despite what kind of moral internet princess they are.

Sorry, not trolling. Perhaps your lack of command of the English language is presenting your story in a different light than you intend it to.

Either you had it shipped to the Apple store or FedEx screwed up delivered it there with a bunch of other Apple-like boxes from AI. 10, 20, 30 or 40 boxes show up at the Apple store daily. They don't look at each box's label, just count them to ensure it matches FedEx's count before signing for the lot Obviously, the store realized it was mis-delivered and gave it back to FedEx to redeliver to you or FedEx tracked it down. This has happened to me before numerous times, it happens to others, and it just happened to you.

So, you take the first one that shows up. If you're happy with the machine, refuse delivery of the second and it'll get returned. Problem solved. Be glad Apple sent you another machine even when your original showed as delivered to your address.

Good luck.

Why are you guys being so critical of the thread starter? I'd be pretty spooked too if I bought a computer and that happened lol.

Glad to hear it's all working out though :) Hopefully you and your computer will be united soon!

The OP hasn't responded to those suggesting he contact his local Apple Stores. I have a $5 bill that says it is sitting in an Apple Store awaiting pickup. OP, have you called your local Apple Stores???
