Good for them. Unless you’re a shareholder who cares?
I for one am happy an American company made it up there. Don’t have to hold any stock to be proud of them.
They’re still gonna take all your money even with their stinginess and incompetency.
Only if you buy their products and services.
$3500 headset.
Did you buy it? Or just forming an opinion based on other opinions?
Failed products.
Sure like Apple Watch, AirPods, m series. Terrible products.
Dumb as a rock Siri/useless AI.
Not useless. Not useful to you.
Playing catch up. More expensive upcoming MacBook Pros.
My advice buy windows laptops.
More ads stuffed into iOS.
I hear android is ad free.
They’ll keep increasing iPhone prices.
And yet android has more expensive phones.
RAM starting at 16GB in 2025/2026. Yey…let’s celebrate! /s

I wonder what has trigger a 25% increase in value? The product pipeline development is at best incremental and new types of products has mostly been a flop. Is the A and M chip the reason?

No. It's very simple. It's Apple's 1+ Billion active and repeat customers who continue to purchase outstanding Apple products they love to own and use. Year after year after year. Making Apple one of the most successful consumer tech companies in the world. And thus making Apple a safe bet for rising stock prices.

As an aside... flops, more than a dozen of them, were the domain of the previous CEO.

You raise a fantastic point. You’d think with 4 trillion they could hire a better software department instead of the current one that releases more bugs and issues than the ones they fix.
They don't have $4Trillion in cash on hand. It's just the valuation based on how much they are making and guestimatedfeelings of what they will make in the future.

The Minis sold poorly and simply don't have enough demand. Beyond a loud internet minority.
That loud internet minority is just stuck in the past & refuses to move on… It mainly happens when people get older, they don’t embrace change. I’m definitely getting older myself, I’ll be 68 next week. But I still enjoy new technology & learning. If I’m still here in 20 years, all bets are off. 😂

Huge Market Paper/Computer valuations.
GN`s on youtube got it pinned. They payed, they payed and they payed money circle.
Nothing built yet. But all is planned with Vapor Money all could go up in smoke in a minute.
Well digital crash i guess since paper not really involved..lol
Trillions sounds good though. Years down the road hope we see it all develop.
Those high ratios not always good. Money in pockets Vs Promised money always A biggie P/E to watch out for.

In 1999 our family had $6000 to invest and we were guessing between apple and a local start up. We didnt choose apple. However I was also aware of Bitcoin when it was below a penny and considered buying it so I have a pretty good streak of missing out on investments.

I share your pain. Passed up several opportunities to buy AAPL in the Noughties, as well as GOOG and BTC.

Came close to putting $A20k into AAPL in '09, which would be worth $A1.7m today 😖

Good going Apple. Might take some time for it to be truly above the $4 Trillion mark. But with the new iPhones which are doing well along with an increase in services income and future exciting products, it is only a matter of time before Apple achieves it.

It’s also possible in 10 years Apple will be worth 8 trillion.
Maybe. But as the person who I replied to said they are stumbling badly with AI…

…which is both a bubble and after smartphones, the cloud and the web and the pc, the next key evolution in computing.

If Apple cannot recover here intel’s fate awaits them.

There’s also worrying signs of over squeezing their users to bump up that all important services revenue.

Subscribe to news + and you still get crappy ads which even Facebook would be ashamed to run.

Now maps might be getting ads.

And their relationship with developers is not good.

Admittedly the Mac, the iPhones, AirPods have never been better (with the air as an outlier). The iPad is getting there with superb hardware and an iPadOS that finally is utilising that hardware. Home strategy is treading water.

Since we’re dealing in hypotheticals and taking the lesson of blackberry and applying it Apple, the reverse could happen and Apple could swallow up Microsoft and Nvidia.
Unlikely until they really start to sort out their ai strategy.

I think it’s more likely that Apple ‘merges’ with google if it cannot.

Nvidia is at the cutting edge of ai so they seem unstoppable right now.

Microsoft could falter. They haven’t really capitalised on ai either. They are slow and blundering as usual and have put out their usual shoddy new products that no one will willingly use over ChatGPT given the chance

Excuse me, I am 81 and just upgraded to latest OS on iMac and iPhone. I have HomePod in kitchen window and two Apple TV'a and an Apple watch. Plus 2 Honda V4 super bikes!! 1983 and 2014. (winning MotoGP bikes are all V4s)! It's not that we don't embrace change, just don't change for the sake of change.
