Horrible president, absolutely, but IMO someone that actually cared as evidenced by his works outside his time in office.

Contrast that with scum politicians who talk a great game but make bank after their time in office and spend more time on their yachts with Jay-Z and Beyonce than helping needy Americans.

Revisionist historian are we? Jimmy was a great man and humanitarian, but he was out of his element as President. You can read your history books to see all the missteps he took as President. A lot of us greybeards lived through it.

Yes, he had bad luck and bad breaks during his term, but he also had some good things… like Israeli-Egyptian peace.

But most of that means nothing, because his real appeal and why he’s getting mentioned by Apple is his post-presidency life.

Certainly in the last 50 years, there’s no former president who has been more humble and decent as Jimmy Carter. He really set the standard for how to handle issues after office.

Are you saying that criticizing Israel is same as being anti semitic. That is completely false. I would say today’s Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians and must be stopped but no one in the west is even bringing that up because they will be branded “anti-Semitic”. Are you going to say Bernie Sanders, a Jew, is anti semitic for criticizing Israel’s actions? You should hear and read the interviews from American doctors that went to Gaza recently. Yea, terrible. The unemployment, inflation, and interest rates and all dropped dramatically during Reagan’s eight years, and his policies directly led to the fall of the Iron Curtain. And during his presidency, he did what he could to protect unborn children.

Paying 20% of your paycheck towards insurance while getting denied the necessary care when you need it. Yeah that’s a real gift from God you got there.

It’s a fact or they would have voted for free healthcare for expectant mothers, free school lunches for kids and universal healthcare (costs 4% or paycheck instead of 20%) for every American like they do in every developed country.

That's just the American way, unfortunately. Other developed countries manage the whole capitalism thing just fine while also having nice things like universal healthcare.

And pro-life people hate kids, even their own! They love seeing ultrasound pictures, but what they really like is seeing starving kids suffering in Africa, or hearing about another abandoned kid sent off to an orphanage. I hear they celebrate these occasions with cake and ice cream.
