Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

My question is, is there a way to switch the email address your Apple ID is associated with? I would like to completely get rid of my gmail account now that I have an @me.com account, but my Apple ID is associated with my gmail account. Anyone know?

Yes, I can't remember exactly where, but I recently had to change my own Apple ID. Used to be my Yahoo email account, now it's my Gmail email account.

I think perhaps it is under "Store."

I just asked this question in another thread and apparently you can change it anything BUT a me.com email.

The short answer is yes, you can. Just tool around in account settings long enough, and you'll find it.

However, it might also not be possible to merge your Apple Store account with the iCloud account. Why don't you see if Apple talks about it at all in their documentation?
