It's unheard of for Apple to rely on a competitor for critical services. There must be more to this story like how Apple relied on Microsoft in the past to stay afloat.

Are you being sarcastic? Hard to tell :)

It's not uncommon for Apple to rely on a competitor for critical services.

Apple relied on Amazon for iCloud, even while plotting to undermine their book sales as a competitor.

Apple has especially relied on Samsung for core parts, even while fighting them in the marketplace and courts.

You're confusing distance or medium latency with that introduced by servers.
Your previous argument was based on distance. Speed of light is "pseudo science" ? Ridiculous statement.
You're more interested in insults and surmising what I have or have not done, I will simply add you to my ignore list.

Err your argument was based on the speed of light which doesn't have anything to do with networking hops. I've proved you wrong with both insults and facts, all backed up with my post that isn't just you trying to argue the internet works at the speed of light across the world but actually has clickable examples (did you try loading any internationally hosted websites? Did you run a trace route to an IP hosted on the other side of the world to see how many hops it goes through? No, you didn't, probably because you don't even know what one is, nevermind how to do it - tip; its built into OS X)

Not only that, but even if you had actually convinced yourself that data centres in the US alone are enough for Apple (or anyone) to get all the data they need worldwide at the same speeds, the fact they're outsourcing worldwide with Google (and previously AWS) is all the evidence you need to know you're wrong. Every country Apple sells in will have its own native data centre, because thats how the internet works quickly no matter where you are, all load balanced by a single URL that points to you to your local CDN. Thats facts, thats the end of this non existent argument.
