Anyone knows apple in store inventory? I bought the 16 pro but now I want to switch to the pro max. Trying to see how often apple receives stock daily.

iPhone 16 Pro Max Apple Instore inventory

I have been pre-ordering iPhones since the first-gen and this year, it seems the Pro Maxes are a little harder than even prior years to score for in-store pickup so far this launch weekend. I think another wave is likely to hit tomorrow or Tuesday. Check early in the morning.
They had tons available for in store pickup Friday morning after showing unavailable between pre-order and Friday
There were quite a bit of avaiable inventory when I checked on Friday (Socal). I'm guessing there will be a restock on Monday/Tuesday.
There was one available in Los Angeles available for pick up today, and someone beat me to it. lol
I’m in New York City and plan to go to one of the 11 local stores to decide whether to trade my 15 Pro Max for a 16. Judging from online availability, which I’m checking a couple of times a day, none of the stores have the range of Pro and Pro Max models that I would want to choose from. Not even the 5th Avenue store. I’m waiting for better range of models, hopefully this week.
Seems like fortune may smile on those who procrastinate, or are simply on the fence.
Or even on those would-be buyers who are turned off by the gate-keeping that is mall store set appointment times.
Saturday evening, I noticed the herds crowding my local Apple Store had long since departed at what was now 20 minutes before closing.
So I stepped inside, and while I (possibly inebriated) was trying to figure out why Black Titanium finish stubbornly brought to mind Oreo Cookie, one other dude (almost certainly inebriated) wandered in, inquired about the new phone, and was told he could buy one from inventory on hand right then.
Straight up. Bro never even saw a line. He came through and secured the bag, er…phone, in five minutes. For real.
So, I gotta say - with most of us in the have-to-have-it-in-Week-1 camp sweating the messy details of 5AM online pre-ordering and the optimal UPS delivery drop-off location - it’s good to see drunken impulse buys are very, very real this year.
This just feels….beautiful.

There was quite a few available on Friday morning, I’ve never seen in store stock on a launch day, and I don’t think I’ve seen any in any configuration until October.
I think they’ll be a lot to go around this week.
I'm not seeing a lot of Pro Max inventory show up today... Looking for a White 512GB in either New Orleans or MA...
I saw one of mine pop up at one store and thought 'oh this must be the start of the wave of inventory updates, I'll hold out for a closer store' and that one was gone within 5 minutes and no others ever appeared... I've been seeing indicated Pro Max inventory come and go all morning, yes.
I have the phone selected in the app and just keep changing the size configuartion and clicking "check store" to see if anything pops up

Saturday afternoon at Victoria Gardens, CA Apple store was out of all Pro and Pro Max by the time I had arrived.
Luckily, I had paid for my 16 Pro online in the morning and picked it up.
Many people who were turned away looked disappointed....
