Embarrassing much? You can almost feel how rushed Apple is and the Anxiety Tim & Co are exuding. It's pretty clear that Apple is behind the 8 ball and full Apple "intelligence" is headed to Q1 2025. Let's just hope that it meets the deadline of WWDC 2025.
How did you come to this conclusion from Apple asking for feedback and giving out likely meaningless points for it?

I love that they're including this kind of feedback functionality, but based on my experience with Apple Intelligence so far, they're not going to love what I have to say (that new border animation is super nice though).

Just like Waze points…they’re completely worthless but fun to brag to friends about!

That’s exactly what a beta is for. Companies want to know what‘s good and what isn’t so good. If they get a lot of feedback that some feature stinks, they’ll revise it in some way. I’m not impressed myself with Mail priorities, but maybe feedback on that will get Apple to de-emphasize those.

Why can't I flag that as positive? Seems like Apple want's results that that reinforce their own bias.

You must not have read these articles. No Apple Intelligence in Europe or China (and who knows what other markets) when iPhone 16 and iOS 18 are released in less than 2 months time.

- Apple Intelligence Features Not Coming to European Union at Launch
- Apple Seeks AI Partner for Apple Intelligence in China

Apple Intelligence not even ready for a September roll out in the U.S. when iPhone 16 and iOS 18 are released, so they're being delayed until October.

- Report: Apple Intelligence Delayed to iOS 18.1 in October

Other Apple Intelligence features not ready until 2025.

- iOS 18: These Apple Intelligence Features Won't Be Ready Until 2025

Why the delays? Probably because...

You can flag something as positive by giving it a "Thumbs Up"

In the new section, users are asked to "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" recent generated content to indicate their level of satisfaction with the results. If the "experience" shown was not good, users are invited to optionally offer more details for submission to Apple. This can be done by choosing from pre-defined feedback presented as a checkmark list, and by providing additional typed information for context.

Such reaches. Apple was fairly clear that some features wouldn’t be day 1 iOS 18 with new hardware.

Thanks for giving Apple feedback. I'm sure it will be appreciated, and for sure doesn't need to be loved if the feedback is helpful/useful.

That's what Beta testing is about. It's not supposed to be ready for release yet. User feedback is needed.

I'm curious... what did you have to say about it?

I don't discount the articles, but I'm unclear what relation they have to the question I asked that poster. Most Apple news posted on this site is met with such hostility and negativity that it becomes miserable to read it.

You want me to believe that the reason some AI features are not being made available on day 1 and are being pushed out to 2025 is not because Apple is behind on AI? 🤣

Oh, I know... Apple doesn't want to roll out all their AI features at once so as to not overwhelm and confuse the user with all the new iOS 18 features. 😂

I haven't heard about this new business strategy where a company delays a new product launch even though it's ready.

What are the points for? Why put it in the headline of the article if you're not going to explain it lmao. Am I crazy?

Because Apple hasn’t explained what the points are for. If Apple hasn’t said if the points are for anything, how would the writer of the article have that information?
The reading comprehension on this site is routinely the worst of any I visit. It's insane.
