Apple Intelligence won’t run if 1.1.1.1 is on

Has anyone solved this? What domains do I need to open up?

None of the more nuanced AI features seem to work; reply prompts are spotty. Ask ChatGPT doesn’t work.

I’d really like for be able to let 1.1.1.1 keep running and have AI working

You are talking about the Cloudflare’s DNS server, I suppose? Does it work for you with any other DNS? What Apple device? what version of mac/i/ipad/OS?

Im on IOS 18.2 with a 15 Pro.

Not actually the DNS but the free WARP vpn tier.

It seems like sometimes it works. So maybe it’s a feature of what node I’m transiting?

Chat Gpt always works though. (Native app. Not through AI)
