I am in Philly and my package is still stuck in Newark since 2:38 this morning. I got the email from apple saying my phone would be at my door on the 23 I sure hope so.

For those from NC, do you think they will be freighting them by truck from Newark to NC, or Flying to Memphis then freighting by truck to NC? It seems Newark to NC by truck would be more economical

I'm betting air to Greensboro, Raleigh or Charlottte and then truck to the cities. It's an 8 to 10 hour drive, I think that's to far for express items but we'll see soon enough.

Very true, but when I checked, there were no Fedex planes departing from Newark to Raleigh/Greensboro/Charlotte. Unless you mean from Memphis?

Seems like all the 2:38 ones haven't left yet. I have a feeling those will leave in the middle of the night since they'll be departing on a truck to fairly close locations, rather than by air.

Wow, that sucks... This is the first time I've had an Apple shipment run through Newark. Maybe it already left and is heading to Memphis and the scans didn't happen? Don't know... I know that my iMac went direct from AK to Memphis but that was late last year.

Mine was a 2:38 am arrival and it left.

I wonder how badly the storms have delayed the truck reaching DC. haha

I doubt they delayed it much, if at all. We had a nasty storm roll through here earlier though. Never seen so many trees on the ground (not counting this past winter's blizzard).

Right. Almost all others have gone through Memphis for me.

Never seen something go through Newark

I am curious if I can still get it tomorrow being in DC if it leaves Newark tonight

I'm drawing a blank here, what's the site people have been using instead of fedex? it has had more tracking info in some cases.

It's at Dulles. :D

I am in Raleigh, NC area and mine finally now shows that it left Newark at 9:51PM. Last update is just simply:

Departed FedEx location
NEWARK, NJ

I'm in Raleigh too and am now seeing that. Think we'll get it tomorrow?

According to this site, there was a flight leaving at 9:52PM for Memphis...So my guess is flight to Memphis , then flying it into Raleigh. Does it even make sense to fly it to Memphis though? Why didnt they do that in the first place

http://flightaware.com/live/findflight?origin=KEWR&originName=&destination=KMEM&destinationName=

That has to be it. Unless they are sending it by freight truck.

Just in case anyone has any ideas of going straight to Newark to get your iPhone. ;) If you go to EWR (Newark International Airport), you will see the dedicated FedEx landing facility there, it's on the way towards the long-term parking lot.

depart

Left at 10:10 from Fedex location. Newark, NJ.

Not far to go right by NYC. It's going to make it baby!

Still in Newark, shipping to New Hampshire.

Mine just arrived in Memphis at 11:06PM. No flights to Charlotte/Raleigh/Greensboro though... Are they trucking it? If they are, theres NO way I get it tomorrow. Why did I get that email?
