I bought an iPhone for a member of my family little over a month ago. The camera developed a live display and picture flaw. The exterior lens was not scratched. So I had no idea what was causing it. The iPhone case was pristine as it has lived in a case from day one. So I hoped that there would be no question that it had been abused.

I took the iPhone to the local Apple Store. The Apple Genius inspected the lens, saw the flaw and replaced it with a refurb on the spot. I was very relieved.

I used to be wary of refurbs on Apple products, but it was in perfect shape. Apple is indeed "Lovely".

The reason that most threads complain, is because service like this is much more common, and thus is not big news! :)
