Apple is Sending Out Free iPhone 4 Bumpers!!

Sorry wasn't trying to be redundant but I hadn't seen any other threads with proof of the bumpers being sent out!

lol—Just because *you're* getting a free bumper doesn't mean, "Apple's giving out free bumpers!!!@#$%^" I'm also getting a free bumper, but I had to be particularly irate to get the damned thing. They're not just giving them out to anyone.

The tech rep even said, "Okay—I'm going to put you on with my supervisor... and he's only gonna give you a bumper if you're screaming at him, so try to be irate. Otherwise, he'll try to send you to the Apple Store."

Either way, congratulations to the both of us.

An internal Apple memo has been leaked saying that Bumpers aren't supposed to be sent out for the issue anymore.

Some people got them, but that's down to the representative you spoke to.

Well don't hold your breath on actually GETTING that Bumper you got an email about.

I have 2 such emails from yesterday and another guy on here has one from the 26th.

None have actually shipped yet.

I think they're holding them up.

Nope. Apple didn't do it.

I did get a SR. rep to send me a Email in writing that he was refusing to send me a bumper.


Apple doesn't have the stock to provide EVERYONE with a bumper. I think that's why they have stopped for now.


thank God I ordered from from eBay on Friday before this issue became a big deal.

I should have it tomorrow.

nice i tryed calling aswell but they told me they sold out and there's nothing they can do. 🙁
