Not likely. It's Apple's form to keep the pricing the same and jazz up what we get.

Last springs release of a 128 GB may have been a little test of the interest so we may see the base go to 32gb rather than 16gb like the 'cheap' one. But at the same price. That is more the way Apple likes to go

I really suspect (and this event invitation almost confirms it) that the 5C is the only new iPhone we are going to see on September 10th.

I'm going to make an assumption that AT&T, Verizon and Sprint will all do their customary "pull-ahead" programs where if you're within a certain number of months from the end or your contract, they'll let you upgrade. My 4S goes off contract in December so I'd imagine I'll be eligible for upgrade pricing...I hope. AND, I'm hoping AT&T will also let me keep my grandfathered unlimited data contract I've had since my 3GS
