Seeing capacity at recent Apple events

Apple campus town hall: 301
Yerba Buena Center: 757
San Jose Center for Performing Arts: 1,122

Seating capacity of Flint Center: 2,405

True, you got me there. :) But, since iOS 8 and Yosemite have already been announced I'm not sure what Apple could be announcing at this event that would bring back skeuomorphism.
I agree you're probably right. I would bet it's a hardware event too.
And what I quoted of you was just humour. Glad you saw the lighter side of it.

That + the extra week to get people there makes me think they want international press there as well. That's big.

No dummy!! Next year's event will be on S9.S9.2015, and THEN the next year the event will fall on L.L.2016, sheesh I have to teach everyone everything

Well played. Can't wait for S9.S9 and even more so for L.L.

I hear the S9.S9. invitation is this exact same one with the colors inverted, meaning moon dial. iWatch 2 has a glow-in-the-dark dial even when the LCD is off.

ANALYSIS
Wish We Could Say More = Apple need more TIME = iWatch
Confirmed!!

9.9. = 2 iPhone 6 model for you to buy both!

Maybe I'm getting old, but I've been waiting for a larger iPhone for so many years that I kind of don't give a damn anymore. I've learned just not to do a lot of things on my phone. Thanks Apple.

I'm amazed nobody in the entire thread has seen the most obvious thing.

"Wish we could say more."

They're blatantly doing the entire presentation via the medium of Mime.

The curves are actually white gloves, made to look like an apple logo.

Sheesh.

Well the date kind of looks like how it would be displayed on a band around your wrist. That's about all I've got...

1st thought upon seeing the invitation:

Location: Flint Center-->The last notable time that Apple held an event here was for introducing the Macintosh. A revolution for the tech industry and the world.

Could history repeat itself and the world be revolutionized when Apple introduces the iWatch, a new product category at this event?

The location is contrary to recent events at this time, so this is certainly interesting.

Hyped and excited!

I don't see an Apple logo on there at all. People are talking about the apple stem and stuff and all I am seeing are some curvy lines!

Well, maybe the 'doubling down' did work. Seems like they have something big in the works.

Looks like even Apple realizes the event will be underwhelming and they wished they cound annouce more things ;)

All the haters gonna see what "double down" has meant all along.
It had nothing to do with China part leaks.

No they aren't because they never cared about Apple's secrecy. 3rd party leaks and rumors are just reason to complain about Apple -- which is actual target of their irrational hate.

I'm sick of the " well played " comment. This is not a football game. How do YOU know it's well played?

You don't until AFTER they finish revealing it.

Because he consulted with the editors of Digitimes. :D

I wish, they could buy the team I support, Newcastle United. Ive used to go to university here in Newcastle, the same university I'm starting at next month. :)

Where Ive went technically doesn't exist anymore, as it was Newcastle Polytechnic (granted now classed as Northumbria University) ... And they would never invest in such a dire money pit that Ashley has created
