The reason we haven't seen anything is becuase the I watch will be/is manufactured in the USA by Apple. No third parties involved. All the acquisitions throughout the past couple of years was to get the know-how and technology required to make the product themselves....vertical integration. The Texas plant is making them alongside the Mac Pro.

While I was half joking and more poking at the "there is no 5.5" iPhone" crowd than the "there is no iWatch" non-crowd (anyone?… Bueller?), but I appreciate this message (and how it's often flung). Nevertheless, don't Americans love attention more than faceless, nameless (but long-nailed) Asians (or, I mean "third parties)? Americans won't leak for the attention? for a bribe? We invented Facebook and our individual need for attention made it huge. We invent apps dedicated to feeding "look at me", "pay attention to me". We have American companies buying an earlier iPhone prototype to "own" the leaks associated with it and a seller selling a whole iPhone prototype for only $5K. We have Snowden leaking much more important, much bigger secrets. But, we are better at keeping secrets like this than these "third parties"?

Apple is going for the throat. No longer Apple battling Sasmung. This is Apple WINNING the war against DROID. :apple:

My take

"We wish we could say more."

"But we don't have to!"

What if this is a hint at something or some feature of something that doesn't require your voice?

apple.com is updated ... looks there will be news macs, iPads and iPhones.

retina macbook air anyone??
That offer has been on for ages. The MacBookPro's were updated only a few weeks ago, the Air earlier this year. I think that's it for the MacBooks this year.

"Wish we could say more" . It's a done deal. The use of the word more proves they are making a 5.5 version.

Too many products to announce: iPhone 6, Apple TV, Mac Mini, MacBook Air Retina, iWatch/iTime...Wish I Could Say More"? When I look at those digits of date which is the main focus, it reminds me of a digital watch. Maybe, smart watch is true.

What about "More" mean "Bigger" (for iPhone 6)? Wish We Could Say "Bigger": meaning 4.7" iPhone 6 is big enough (for one hand use? damn, no 5.5") or We cannot make a phone bigger than this (yes, 5.5" iPhone...)

I am expecting a "One more thing" in this keynote.

But puh-leez, give my Apple TV 3 an App Store already! Too much control, Apple! And when that happens, USA gets all the cool stuff while rest of world weeps.

I'd love if:

Beats Music rolls out worldwide & free membership if using iTunes Match.
Apple TV revamped with an app store so we don't have to wait for Apple for nice stuff on our big screens.
iWatch is introduced with a price to beat all the other stupid-watches. (who am I kidding, I'll buy it even if it is priced the same as an iPad mini)
iTunes movie streaming service introduced to screw up Netflix big time.
Features of iOS 8 previously unannounced are revealed.

I'd hate if:
They introduce NFC like it is a big thing. NFC just plainly sucks as a technology that is years ahead of its time, not usable in current era of tech world. Plus if they do it will be Apple ecosystem only anyways.
Not doing justice for the 30th year of the Macintosh, and introducing lame stuff all the time instead of the important ones.

Apple keynotes are now like tv shows with 1-2 episodes per year. Can't wait!

oh man. Here we go.

Sucks that the actually release of the device will be in 2-3 weeks.

I don't think it will be 2 or 3 weeks, I'm thinking more like a month or 2. If I remember correctly, when Apple introduced the iPhone and the iPad it did it like 2 to 3 months before the release because they didn't want the FCC to leak the product, so I think it will be the same with the "iWatch".

Well played Apple, well played.

Love it. Every year there's some sort of play on words it seems, and this time it's like, "SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTTS AND WAIT!"

Awesome. Can't. Wait.

Of course, maybe it's a directive to us, that we will wish Apple will say more, but they won't.

Maybe we're in for disappointment? :p

Hidden image!!!

Look at what I found when I brought the image into Photoshop and took the shadow and midtone sliders in LEVELS over to the right!

I've used this technique before to see concept car teases that the auto makers have used to hide details.
