No offence mate. Just doing my patriotic Kiwi-bashing duty. Looking forward to the one-dayers next year.

Carn iTMS au and unzud.

At least nobody mentioned *******.

Edit: taking Nermal's advice

Absolutely, categorically

The significant factor is "the worldwide head of iTunes Music Store and worldwide head of iPod Marketing will appear." And as i'm sure we're all aware, Apple don't fly their iTMS and iPod heads to speak to some journo's for no reason.
They've sent out the big wigs to categorically, emphatically state that the Aus iTMS will be open for business at a date and time as yet not determined.

That way, there can be no confusion.

Also, there is the whole issue of the Aus/NZ pronunciation of the iPod Mini vs upud munee thung.

On a positive note, it is also posiible that these two guys/girls have been sent here to verify once and for all that there is in fact a country called Australia and so all of those nasty hate emails they have been receiving about the Aus iTMS weren't made up by a small select group of Msft employees playing mind games with them.

I thought that if this was just for a few journo's that it could be to get momentum up by announcing a release date...
Maybe it's just a media conspiracy as an excuse for an afternoon off at the pub.
(Snickers in an outrageous french accent ..."I told my boss there was a press conference at apple")

I'm not 100% sure it'll be iTMS AU - but i do know it has something to do with it.
Probably about the lack of it. I thought I was wrong once before however, I was mistaken
