Nobody from the UK tried to claim on the BTS promo?

Its not been offered in the UK as of yet, it has in Germany so imagine it will be soon. I just bought my new MBP, so hoping they announce the offer in the next two weeks so I can get it!

I purchased a new rMBP on Thursday via the Online Store and received the email confirming I could request the "surprising gift" by calling Apple or replying to the email. I replied to the email, anyone else had this and heard anything back from them? The promo on their website does say for purchases from the Online Store after 6th August... so strange I received the email?

I got the email the same day the promo began. My headphones arrived today and I have to say I am impressed. I wasn't expecting to like them and it turns out - I love them.

I just called Apple in the UK enquiring about the promotion and although the first person I spoke to didn't know what I was talking about, she checked with someone else and then said it would start tomorrow, 7th August and will run until 18th September. It appears to be exactly the same offer as the one in the USA although I didn't ask for the upgrade price to the wireless models.

The B2S promotion is now live in the UK - the upgrade price is £100, which I don't really understand. Calling Apple tomorrow to see if I can get them added to my education order I made on the 5th of August

Probably because they aren't as crappy as people think they might be. And probably because something free is still more than nothing free.
