Apple Launches 2023 Mac Mini Repair Program Due to Power Issue

Given that there was no actual problem (just a serial number lookup showed hers was in the range) she simply got a new Mac mini power cable, plugged it in, and is using it. That's the sum total of the entire experience.

I have a tough time believing the power cable could be the culprit to ...much of anything.
