Apple Launches Free 12 Days of Christmas App for European Customers

Not really enjoying the free gifts for the first 2 days. I love Coldplay but I prefer to listen to the studio versions of their songs not the live versions. And today it's some game called Broken Sword which looks lame
 
Er no. It's two tv shows. Broken Sword Part 2 is free for an extended period. And the first one was quite good as far as I played it. Where are people getting advanced notice of the 'gifts' (and why is Coldplay still free?)

You replied to an Irish poster. You might want to check the iTunes store in Ireland first before contradicting him. He's right. It is a lame offering since it is free from 22nd-29th Dec regardless.

Fair enough. It is a bit odd, as today's UK gift (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/marry-the-night-single/id486798428) also seems to have been free since the 22nd. I assumed Apple would have someone switch this stuff on and off even though iTunes Connect is closed for the Holidays...
 
I am enjoying this years offerings. They sure are a hell of a lot better than last years.
 
Picked up the Jo Nesbo book. I like a good thriller.

Tomorrow will be an App Im sure.


There was last year someone who knew what was coming out, anyone get any ideas this year?

I'm quite happy with the offering of freebies this year, some I have downloaded, those that didn't interest me I ignored.
 
Disappointed so far, as I've only been able to download one item. All the others have not been available on my localised iTunes store, the Jo Nesbo book is available but they want to charge me for it :mad:

The French store has different offerings, Raymond E. Feist's Magicien - L'Apprenti is free today in France (based on your location)... or do you have a different local store?
 
Told you, an app today. Sonic All-Stars Racing.
Quite good, initially weird to manhandle, but once you get to the steering.
 
I got the sonic sega all stars today and put it on both of my daughters ipod and they love it. controls just need getting adjusted to

But it was already at Christmas sale for $0.99...
(I bought it at $1.99 few months ago)

Many of the people who bought it yesterday must be angry right now :D

Four videos from him last year as well. Disappointing.
