Why are the prices written as "A$ 25 Off"? We don't say "Australian dollars 25" when we speak, so what's with the USA-style prices?

And shouldn't that be "25$AUD" anyway?

Black friday have been a noob trap the last years, except the limited ssd deals you can get in amazon wich you gotta be on point to take advantage of lol

Lame

I'm sorry, but I'm disappointed in Apple. If you look around at any of the other retailers (ie. Best Buy, Freddies, etc.) they are offering better discounts on Apple's Products than apple and they receive hardly any price break over retail. Apple, being the vendor of the products, could stand to take a little more of a cut considering the market.

Because that's how you write it when you're indicating the currency. You put the currency code (usually AU for Australia) in front of the currency symbol.

So, at work I'll write things like: AU$1000, US$1000, NZ$1000, CN¥1000, JP¥1000, etc... all the time.

Black Friday in Autralia again..

$100 saving on Macs is better than a kick in the teeth anyday, but, ptty it's ONLY $100.

Way can't Apple gove us somehing better? Where youvhave 10% here, or there, on other sites, ya, its cheaper, but not that much....

Gve us a reason of a difference, like $300.... I' sure Apple coud do this with all their money they have...

Its only one day a year... Their not going to go broke.

Didn't bother reading all the above replies, but just to inform you guys, that the UK store is undergoing an update, meaning that the UK, more than likely, are getting Black Friday discounts as well this year.

The Ebuyer.com sale in the UK was better - iPad 4 16GB in white or black for £299. Sold out in 20 minutes, unsurprisingly enough.

Amazon's Black Friday sale this year is rubbish so far.

anyone who bought a ipad 4 with the last two weeks return it asap and get it from best buy! 60 bucks off! great savings......the only thing is that they only have the 16gb wifi white, all the other white configurations are not on sale! best buy has only online orders for the savings on the iPad

if u want to pick it up you can get it at target for 499 w a $ 60 gift card

on a side note does anyone think you can get it at the store and ask them to price match the site? even though it says 'online only" lol

Wow, I picked up a 32GB White model this morning with the $60 discount. I wonder what time they stopped it...

How long after midnight was the US store online? It is now 15 min after midnight and the store still says it is closed right now here in Germany...why advertising the sale to start 00:01 when the store is not ready?

Edit: Stupid me...It's not even midnight in the US ;-)

You get what you pay for. The Apple store is always your best bet, so that third parties don't get any of Apple's profits.

The biggest reason that they have all their money they have is because they don't do this.

$41 dollars off an iPad Retina is a Black Friday special?

i got $50-off just from asking customer service due to a delay at the factory

Ok it is now 01:00 AM and the Apple store is still down...even though I felt pretty stupid waiting for midnight anyway it really upsets me that Apple is (again) advertising something they cannot fulfill...

Update: 01:30 Store finally online...though disappointing deals...

Or maybe the iTunes Store generation which is used to $0.99 apps and cries when it costs a buck more.

In my day Programs cost big bucks. Many hours of your salary were required to buy any of them. You would have to go to a store and buy them, and then feed disk after disk after disk into your computer for hours to install them.

The iTunes Store Generation is a bunch of friggin cry babies.
