I received the e-mail and didn't get to the iOS Beta page until I figured out that the Apple ID I used was the one from the e-mail and I was signed in with a different one. Downloading now, let's see what this does ;)

Getting sick of the fact that I've been registered for the Yosemite beta since the day it launched and I've still got no option to join the iOS beta program, yet people who only registered to the program yesterday are getting access WTF Apple ?!?:mad::mad:

Defiantly limited invitation only.

I talked with some people at Apple about this and they told me that it's by invitation only. They had no comment on when or if they would send out more invitations.

So now everyone can stop checking there emails.

With this news, now we checking emails more often

Has anybody received the email today? I really want to try this iOS beta out but I haven't received the email yet.

I'd need that someone who got invited sends me a private message, then I could help the others getting the OTA update without invitation.

Only if those people have access to it in their Apple beta portal (which is only if Apple gave it to them).

Bummer! Wish they would have sent it to someone who really wanted it and not me. I did click all the way through just to test it and it prompted me to install 8.3 seed. I cancelled it. I'll do beta program on OS X but not my iPhone just because I depend on my phone 100 percent and don't want anything to go wrong.

I received an Email from Apple yesterday regarding the iOS 8.3 Beta. Sadly I no longer have an iPhone in which to test with. Come September I will though! Let's hope the Beta program continues with future iOS & OS X releases!

Can't argue with that logic, though for one day of use for me so far, it seems surprisingly stable. I have ran into a couple of bugs that I have sent through the feedback assistant, but they were relatively minor and each only happened once.

Phone calls, data, and texts have worked flawlessly for me. Maybe you could give it a sporting chance.

Many of my devices are already developer registered, so I did what any sensible person would do; take my personal non-developer-registered iPhone 6 Plus and restore 8.3 beta 3 to it!

And it worked!

(Not suggesting anyone do this of course!)

Any major changes? Thanks for letting me know! :D

Did you use the restore option? Also did it give you an activation error

Nothing too major besides what we know so far. Apple watch app added, Feedback assistant app added, emoji picker, enhanced Siri for languages, keyboard enhanced for the space at & period key.

The annoying cut, copy, paste bug in Safari is still there... Not a deal breaker but annoying.

In trying to allow people to test and resolve problems with their OS after complaints, Apple has managed to create reasons for users to complain about trying to get the software.

"This is something only Apple could do"
