Apple today quietly released new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max silicone cases, as well as Apple Watch Sport Bands, in three new colors: Hibiscus, Mellow Yellow, and Pacific Green. In addition, Apple has begun selling the new Nike Sport Loop and Sport Band options that debuted on nike.com earlier this month in Celestial Teal, Olive Flak, and Smokey Mauve.

Say what you will about Apple, but they really have a way with describing colors.

I wonder why the lack of XR cases. Seems like an easy quick buck for Apple, without much effort, especially since the XR is the best selling model this year.

Those look like kids Swatch bands. Not sure what self respecting adult would wear such cheap childish looking bands.

Endless ideas for new watch bands but the iPhone Xr gets no love whatsoever.
    What's up with that?

I just dont get apple here. The XR is the higher selling model and they dont sell cases for it. Apples cases are almost entirely profit for them. They sell $5 worth of case for $50. Why on earth arent they making cases for the XR?

Pretty sure you don’t have to buy them or wear them.

Those are the ugliest bands I’ve seen! Wow. I can’t imagine anyone wearing those. I was hoping for some decent ones. My current Nike band is nice, but I’d like to swap every now and then.

You may be right. There are a lot of young people wearing Apple Watches ⌚️so it makes sense to finally cater to them too.

I actually think the sport loops look pretty good. I have a winter sports jacket that would match that smokey mauve quite well.

Do the pacific green bands look blue to anyone else or is it just me?

Maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

No need for XR cases. With these cases you can virtually turn your XS into a XR.

Yeah I’m sure the person designing the next Mac had to stop what they were doing to design these instead.

The colors on the Sports bands remind me the 3 stages of drunkenness: Left to right (as pictured above); "Hey, this is a great buzz!" .... "Uh-oh, I think I'm about to puke." .... Lastly, The Morning After: Remorse. "Oh, my God, what did I do?"

Stylish with the right choices in clothes and color. Would complement each other very much.

Is it just me or does ‘pacific green’ look a lot like midnight blue?

AAPL never did offer a Silicone case for the XR, so I ended-up going with the Caudabe "The Sheath" in classic black, & consider it to be a real winner ! ... I highly recommend it.

BTW, I do believe AAPL had manufactured Silicone cases for the XR, but decided NOT to go to market with them at the last minute, simply because if the third-party case manufacturers didn't see any volume, that would have been a major tip off that the XR did NOT get off the ground, as many of us believe, me included.

NON of the so-called Pro Stock Analysts picked up on this.

Anybody with basic math skills can verify the XR success OR lack there of by comparing the # of Ratings of any of the major case manufacturers ... simply compare the XR to the cases for the other iPhones.

    NOT Rocket Science !

You heard it here first !

It’s amusing that the people lambasting Apple for not releasing an official Xr case are probably the people least likely to get one.
