Command l never didn't work for me.
Oh really? Because Cmd-L is meant to show you the current playing track IN THE CONTEXT of WHERE it is playing: I.e. if you started playing it from a playlist it should show it IN THAT PLAYLIST. Right now it is taking me to "My Music" instead. This is completely broken behaviour.
At least now it seems to remember that I want the bloody song list instead of album view in "My Music", yet it still goes to "My Music" even though I closed it in Playlists view. BROKEN. BROKEN. BROKEN!
Seriously Apple, just accept that I will never ever want to see the "My Music" tab as I spend my entire life in the Playlist tab. Just remember WHERE I was and take me back there, wether that was a playlist, a store view or a movie listing. iTunes 12 has no permanency and it is driving me up the freaking wall.
EDIT: It just magically started working again. I swear I updated earlier, but on a subsequent quit and reload it took me right back to the playlist I quit in. Then I started a song, went to a playlist, hit cmd-L and as expected it took me right back to that playlist. WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?! (Above rant still stands for previous behaviour in iTunes 12, may it never return again. No one move so we don't jinx it.)
