No but there was some opportunity cost. Some developer (and let’s face it it was a team, as someone said earlier in this discussion that things at Apple don’t take a mere couple of hours) spent time on this, they could have been directing to something else.

Probably it is just a side thing copied from tvOS DB. It doesn't hurt anyone, really people gets crazy for nothing. It is just a webpage, bad or good. Apple didn't made big announcements, just told the world it is online. And I agree, no search, no way to browse... but move on.
