The one thing I want is List View for iCloud Drive files view. No one can read a long folder/file title in icon view. Unless I am missing how to see my drive in classic, finder-friendly list view?

I suppose we're all different, I for one have no interest in an android at all, but I respect others' desire to want one. However, should Apple add iMessage to iCloud(not saying they will) — I don't expect a great deal of iPhone users to switch over to android. If you want to use an android phone, why do you even want iMessage?
Huh? I'd use my Galaxy Fold as my primary phone if I could access iMessages on it. Without iMessage, media sharing via SMS between Android and iPhone users means thumbnail quality video and images.

Do all the people you interact use iPhones?! Most of my communication happens through Telegram right now, so that's not an issue(for me).

Only one person I communicate has an Android and we use WhatApp, though his wife has an iPhone so go figure 😝

iCloud synch with Windows still does not work - gets stuck after 1000 files or so. Video playback online in Photos or shared (via Web) albums is still very low resolution (480p or worse). Come on, Apple, it's not that hard to fix this, instead of another refresh of visual design. Who cares how it looks if it does not work.

I'm just here to see how people turn a positive, great change, into something negative 🍿
iOS and iPadOS 17 redesign in-line with iCloud.com which took its inspiration from WindowsPhoneOS LiveTile UI/UX 😝

Sleek is nice, but the performance of the old iCloud.com was my pain point. If this is actually more performant... finally. I'll have to go give it a try.
Totally agree! The old one was so slow and irritating to use, things seem to work much faster.

I even had to use keynote at work and it was miles faster than is was the last time I used it on iCloud.com

I just used it and was very very impressed.
Too much redundancy, the users account info is on the top right menu bar as well as in a tile to the left, what is the purpose of this. Can any of these tiles be customized like widgets or moved around.

Plus no privacy or lock for Photos, that way as soon as one logs into iCloud their photos are all there for anyone to see if in public. Minor details geared towards Apple’s Privacy Marketing is lost.

A privacy lock on all widgets or tiles in the new iCloud should be users specified.

Americans for the most part don't use these apps for text messaging. They use the default messages apps on their devices.
A lot of Americans I know don't use the native messaging app. I honestly don't know why, but that has been my experience. I use Telegram, because I adore their video messages, and also because I interact with some users who either don't have iPhones, or despite having iPhones — prefer to use WhatsApp, which I hate.
