No, just for real men, better than a Care Bears styled site.

Btw. found an iPadOS 17 leak... are they shifting their CI?

Did you just say dark mode is for real men?? Hahahahahaha.

Feels more cosmetic than anything else. For instance - Reminders is just as limited on iCloud.com as ever. And the aversion to any right click functionality is baffling to me. You can't rely on iCloud.com for anything else but a completely last resort option if you're stuck on a Windows PC at work. And even then, I'd seriously consider just getting an iPad.

What's the purpose of iCloud website other than you try to find your lost mobile and don't have another Apple device at home? The worst part would be you can't login as you haven't approve the new device in advance and verifying security code has been sent to the lost/stolen mobile!

I love it, however I cannot figure out how to ungroup my email messages. Using from desktop (PC)

I guarantee you this is at least half the reason why messages has never come to the web. The other half is that apple wants you to use the app on your mac (which means you need to own a mac
As I've just said, it's not a conspiracy 🤦‍♂🙄,..iMessage messages are end-to-end encrypted. They wouldn't be via browser!

Well, if they really wanted to, there are many ways to implement decryption on the client browser side.
You can embed all kind of things now a days in javascript, in a way it needs to be allowed/confirmed once on your iDevice, just like with 2FA, you have to 2FA anyway to login.

Where a will is, there is also a way!

Nice refresh long overdue. However no need features? I really want the ability to remotely access my home Mac in browser via iCloud which gets passed firewalls etc. I'd like to be able to remote into home computer occasionally from work.

Thats correct, but they don't..so move on. Javascript, pfft yeh right, very secure. You don't think they would have had meetings over this with their engineers? Clearly they've decided.

I may be an idiot and just can’t figure it out, but I’ve always wondered how to find a specific file in the Files app at iCloud.com. Is there a search function I’m just too oblivious to find?

This is great. I have just tried it on my M2 MacBook Pro and my M1 iMac, and it looks wonderful. Similar, on my Apple iPad Pro with my AirPods Max connected, I enjoyed loading up this website. What better way to check iCloud while also watching some excellent high quality Apple TV + content on my Apple TV 4K.

- Is there a more sane way to download all your photos now? Previously you had to manually select 1000 at a time and it was a huge pain
- Any API access to files yet? (assume no of course)

Remember Windows and Android devices can access and use icloud.com.

To answer your second question: Because I could get an Android phone and still keep my icloud email address attached to iMessages and use it over the web. I could essentially have my cake and eat it to.

You will never see iMessages on icloud.com.
The other half is because Android is a mess and having to use their tech puts data at risk exponentially. Including at risk for Google having listeners to capture data right before encryption.

I had a bug in the Beta Version and the bug is still there: I see two old emails in my mailbox and can not delete them. (Getting an error message) They are only shown in icloud.com mail.

Nothing radically new. It's just a new launchpad and menu bar look. Much ado about nothing. Classic Apple.
