Comes out in November. Thank goodness. I might have the funds to own one by then. Didn't think I wanted to but now I think I do. Ha.

Give it a few versions, and say good bye to anything resembling a Macbook Air/Macbook.
I have been saying this for a while. With a keyboard it can be an Air. A few more changes in OS to make everything across all products the same it will be the laptop in place of what we call a laptop now.

Underwhelmed so far. Apple Pencil (stupid name) looks pretty neat; not an innovation, but a refined, high quality version of something we've had for decades. Would have liked to see a hybrid OS X/iOS. Meh.

Ummm... refined, high quality version of something we had before is exactly what innovation is.

innovate - make changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products.

The pencil looked like it had some unique hardware inside it. Plus the screen had some special sauce too.

Apple didn't use off-the-shelf parts... they made their own version.

And that describes precisely the word "innovation"

:)

Nice but needs a better camera and more memory. My iPod has the same specs...given the other features...I'm a buyer...

Does the pen and keyboard work with the rest of the line. That's all I'm interested in?

I really welcome the arrival of a real stylus. Finally! Doing cartwheels! Hoping like crazy it's pencil-on-paper accurate and that palm rejection is totally solved (kind of like a Wacom tablet). However, and it kills me to say this, at $950 for the mid-iPad Pro version, plus $100 for the stylus, plus $170 for the keyboard, we're totaling $1220 and I'm *never* *ever* going to pay that much for this functionality :-(. Seriously, what were their marketing guys thinking!
