Apple is also releasing a new MagSafe Leather Case and Leather Sleeve in Deep Violet, a Silicone Case in Capri Blue, Pistachio, Cantaloupe, or Amethyst, and a Leather Wallet in Arizona, all available to order beginning today.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in the new purple color will ship with iOS 14.5, according to Apple.

Apple continues to sell the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in existing colors, including Black, White, Blue, Green, and (PRODUCT)RED. Pricing starts at $699 for the iPhone 12 mini and $799 for the iPhone 12 in the United States.

Yes the iPhone 12 is the weaker selling phone ... lay down the crack pipe dude.

Listen to the January 2021 earnings call before typing. The 12 Pro and Pro Max are the sales leader by far.

With touch ID in the power button!

ah na. Sorry. Color is enough for the pandemic
This idea really has to go away, because it will not be done in the coming years.

As long as phones need cases to be protected adequately against drops, this is absolutely NOT a good idea. Most cases cover the power button.

Nah, other phones have it. Cases are not an issue as case companies will leave a hole for the power button rather thackeray covering it, very much like what they do with the alert toggle. TouchID is necessary and it is coming. It will come to with the iPhone 13 or 14. TouchID on the power button is already in the iPad Pro.

What? Do you think Apple is doing this to draw attention away from their more expensive phones so more people purchase the cheaper ones? 🥴

If every consumer could afford the Pro and Pro Max, Apple wouldn't need the regular 12 and 12 mini.

Nice for Apple to add a color, beautiful and will be picked by alot of folks. Really unusual though. I think the 11 had purple as well.

Wonder if they had trouble with purple originally and finally got it right (like White was way back when)?
