How rude that Brian only asked for Greg’s top 3 iPhones. He put Greg in such a tough spot, since he wanted to list all 4 iPhone 15s (which he still did). Love his frank honesty. He thought long and hard before answering that difficult question…

Sounds like Greg is an iPhone hoarder. Instead of picking up the version that’s best for his use cases, he just buys them all. Maybe he’ll buy all 4 iPads that are announced next week. Or, dare I say it, he’s lying? Sorry, that’s an absurd thought.

I enjoyed it, if only to see some of these execs in a more relaxed situation. I am a retired IBMer, but if I were just starting a career I would be proud to be part of Apple.

Unknown youtuber with 250k subscribers has access to top Apple executive and can undertake long interviews while cruising Apple Park in a golf cart...All this totally natural and spontaneous, nothing was set up or prepared in advance.

Apple marketing team probably think we are morons or they are morons. Hard to tell.

But you still bought Apple products. If you're no longer interested in Apple, why are you spending time in a Mac forum? I can't believe it's simply to be informed of products you don't like.
There is hope my criticisms will lead to something better. Also good to see many others share my concerns.

You have to keep in mind it's a universe of 2 for most device categories when it comes to software -- either Android/iOS or Windows/macOS. The other guys aren't all that great either when it comes to software, even though there are lots of decent options when it comes to hardware. That doesn't turn me into an Apple fan. For laptop, I was forced to move away from mac because of display causing eye strain and headaches. If they discontinue the SE, my next phone will have to be Android. If the phone goes, the HomePod goes too. At that point, I will no longer be visiting macrumors.

Gosh, I like most Apple products, but any videos with people working there are always so insufferable. They all act like robots, trying to give the safest possible answers without a hint of self criticism of any kind. I dunno what's up with that weird Apple culture, why can't they be a little more chill.
Agree.

There is something very Stepford about the whole thing.

If we can't have an Apple iCar, can we at least have a golf cart designed by Apple? Should be a lot simpler. They could call it the iCart.

It's a great phone, but man has Apple become the beige box company with their iterative designs year after year. I guess AI is going to bail one more company out. Now let's do something about that stock price Apple!

So what? I don't use many Apple products anymore but I like the forum, people, and discussion and still have hopes for Apple in the future. Plus I'm a stockholder so I still do buy Apple "stuff." Discuss with that person instead of just telling them they don't belong here.

Now there is a practical form a transportation. A self driving golf cart that can take me to and from the pub.

Holy hell, the sentiment and tone in these forums is sliding far and fast…

Forget journalism.

You won’t even get any new insider information on any new products or anything.

I know it’s pure fluff without even clicking it.

If it wasn’t then it would be all over all of the tech news sphere and raking in reposts and views.

At best it’s a boring ad.
Well, when all you want to read is criticism, negativity, gotcha journalism when it comes to Apple then I suppose you could call anything positive “fluff.” Only attacks on Apple are worthwhile reading, right?

It’s not only these forums, it’s the entire culture of the internet. The name of the game is to viciously attack anything that comes your way. Nothing is worthwhile, nothing means anything, nothing is good enough, positivity is now considered a mental illness on the internet. The internet has become a cancer on humanity.

I agree, to a point. I fight back with optimism (not blind optimism, mind you), and call out bullies and rude people regularly.
Be the change you want to see in the world - and that includes the online world, imo

Yeah, that doesn't work. You need to compare tech stock growth post-pandemic to get a sense of current future facing growth. You went back 5 years! Which takes account time when these folks were still hitting their stride. Now, they are missing the mark. So....compare the past year among peers. There you will see the problem.

Don't be fooled by your data!
