I just got it today, the forest green one to use on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Can you believe it already has a scratch on it? It just took a nail accidentally touching it to scratch it. Now I have leather jackets and this has never happened and they go through all kinds of environments. It’s unbelievable they charge 55 euros/dollars whatever for this piece of garbage. The silicone ones aren’t any better. One week of skin oil and sweat on them and the color will start fading or changing. I won’t even mention the clear case, that one is not even worthy of a cent.

Nothing new with Apple leather cases. I understand your frustration though, I used to exchange these leather cases multiple times due to scratches from normal wear but I stopped cause it drove me insane having to do that all the time so I just lived with it.

These cases are suppose to tell a story so everyone's different and you will already have tons of scratches by next year to even worry about it anymore.

I beat the living crap out of my leather cases. When they start shredding or become torn I replace them. I prefer the aged Look

I’ve had and still have leather products and they don’t scratch this easily. Anyway, I rubbed the area with a bit of water and the scratch is nearly invisible now. Do the leather watch bands scratch in a similar fashion to the leather cases? I was about to buy the one in yellow but this experience might have changed my mind.

Apple is going to have to start breeding tougher cows.
Introducing: The Apple Cow.
“This year’s refined, refined, refined cow, with an anodising process which makes the leather procuring perfect.
Now, the cow has 25% more battery life than last year’s model, and is... still not scratch resistant. I’m sorry. Maybe we’ll introduce Gorilla Leather next year.
The performance of the A13 Cow Bionic Chip is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Just get it. Starting at ONLY 4299.”

I just hope they work out all the bugs in CowOS. The beta has been really spotty so far.

Yeah, the Cow is way too slow and laggy. The Bionic chip might be underpowered. Apple’s Cow planned obsolescence. In two months you have to get another Cow.

Put damp cotton cloth on the effected area and blow dry with hair dryer (warm air setting). That will help release the oils and improve the effected area.
