Not if they only get to work on the email stuff. Apple could in fact learn a lot from their approach. The Mail app is pretty hideous and clumsy in comparison.

Good Lord, I had BB for years and I still use the Bold 9900 for work today and it's the biggest waste of finger functions I know of. Have you ever use the search function in their email app?

Yes, the search feature is bad. But I still miss that the home screen only indicates messages that came in after you last checked the email app - not like on the iphone where you actually need to open them (or now "mark all read" in iOS7 - which is the only improvement I see in 7).

Plus I miss not having two separate mail logos on my home screen (business and personal) to see if anything new came in.

That plus the fact that during my years of having BlackBerrys there were maybe two or three outages. With my Apple push mail there are hangups every other day. It's completely unreliable and they either don't know why that is or don't want to admit to it. And I'm on the same networks and servers as before.

Why the hate on BB

Something I will never understand is the deep hatred people have for phones other than what they use. The sarcastic comments are just amazing. I have tried virtually every kind of phone out there and some are great and some aren't. The Iphone is a wonderful device. Does a lot and is great for many people. So is Android. I personally never felt good with an Iphone. It seemed like a great entertainment device and was fun and easy but lacked in the hard core communication capabilities I needed. When the BB Z10 came out it was everything I needed but a bit unpolished. But so was the Iphone when it first came out. With the latest software the Z10 is everything I need in an email and communication device. I couldn't be with out the hub. It has all of the apps I need and want and is a beautifully made device. BB royally screwed up in its marketing approach and the executives should be dropped off a cliff somewhere. It is sad such a great device with the best virtual keyboard out there is so unknown. I can't type worth ****** on an iphone or any android I have tried but I wiz right along on my Z10. I am not in anyway saying anything bad about apple products as I am a hard core Mac guy but the Iphone and Ipad just didn't fit my needs. Beautiful products but not for me. If BB goes under I will continue to use my Z10 for as long as I can. Probably will buy another as a spare. So there guys. BB as a company is a mess. The latest phones are pretty darn cool and not worth the scorn. I am mature enough to not bad mouth a phone just because it isn't what I use. I am very happy with my Z10 and wish you guys would at least take a look at it. If it is not for you it doesn't mean it sucks it just means it wasn't for you. Take care all.

I agree and I do believe they will come back BB just got some kind of major government security approval that nobody else has.

What's with all this hate for those beer choices? Keiths is delicious! There might be some "hip local brands" on the west coast, but good luck finding anyone who drinks anything other than Keiths, Olands, Moosehead, or Canadian on the east coast.

and I may or may not have a Moosehead tattoo on my leg..



On topic:

Pretty solid move. There would be a ton of unemployed talent coming from the area.

The main problem is, you can see through them. Any beer you can see through isn't worth drinking.
