The real challenge will be India's major cities and their platforms (sidewalks/pavements)!

It will be like mapping waves breaking onto the shore.

Is Apple strategy of developing everything in house doomed? Is it the reason Apple products are much more expensive than the competitors. I was taught that specialization is essential for improving productivity.

At this rate, it will take a long time to get this up and running. Maybe they should hire marathon runners to speed things up.

Even then, it seems he lost his way - looking down at some device or something
Chances are it’s powered by GMaps...

Why don't they use an electric unicycle for such activities. So much more effective and they can cover ten fold the ground in a quarter of the time.

In fact a quick Google search just found that you can actually apply to borrow one of these rather easily: https://www.google.com/streetview/loan/. I just searched for "Google map backpack" and this was the first result. Nothing similar for "Apple Map backpack" however...

Google has opened up the Google Street View platform for people to contribute using approved cameras like Ricoh Theta V and Insta360 Pro. I've been doing it for a few months, although the quality we can contribute is not nearly as good as their setup.

it is profitable or just to have own area doing that.

Please, and maybe change the goofy name so people take it seriously? "DuckDuckGo" sounds like it's from the era when it seemed like a great idea to name something "Yahoo!"

Well, let's not forget that DDG sources traditional links from Bing, it does not have the enormous resources required to be a standalone global search provider and Apple buying it would at the very least require renewed back-end agreements with Bing, Google or a very big investment to compete with those two:

In fact, DuckDuckGo gets its results from over four hundred sources. These include hundreds of vertical sources delivering niche Instant Answers, DuckDuckBot (our crawler) and crowd-sourced sites (like Wikipedia, stored in our answer indexes). We also of course have more traditional links in the search results, which we also source from a variety of partners, including Oath (formerly Yahoo) and Bing.

The first thought I had was “do people really walk in California”?

I suppose San Fran to some extent. But SoCal isn’t a very walkable city

Better off on electric scooter. I could see employees complaining of back pain after and going after Apple for back issues
